Jennex, Gerald R (Chinker) : Born in Halifax NS on the 4th Sept 1931 Passed away in Masstown NS on the 21st February 2010. Chinker was in RC Sigs from 1950 to 1976, during his military time he served as a peacekeeper in Egypt 1956 and 1974, Congo 1960/61, Cyprus 1967/68, 1970 and 1976 and Germany 1971/72 his trades were Lineman and Rad-Op. One of his hobbies was as an Amateur Radio Operator with the Callsign VE1GRJ.
Gerrior, Laven: Passed way in Dartmouth, N.S. on the 23 October 2009. Born in Sydney, N.S. on the 28th July 1933, He served with RC Sigs from 15 April 1954 to 28 July 1983, during his military service he served as a United Nations Peacekeeper in the Congo 1961, Cyprus in 1964 and 1979 and Egypt 1977.
Winters, Harvey D: Born in Parrsboro, N.S. on the 22nd August 1929. Served with RC Sigs (OWL/Rad Op) from 07 June 1951 to 27 Sept 1966, during his service he was posted to the following foreign areas: Korea March 1953 to March 1954, Congo March 1962 to September 1962
Cadger Jim: It is with great sadness that I report the passing of a good friend Jim Cadger. Jim passed away at Dr Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital in Fredericton, NB on Saturday May 31, 2008 with family at his side after suffering a cardiac arrest on Friday May 30, 2008. Born in the Miramichi area 04 March 1944 deceased 31 May 2008. His service in RC Sigs was from October 1961 to October 1970. Last posting was at CFB Gagetown (720 Comm Sqn). His last place of residence was in Fredericton, New Brunswick.
